Sprinkle Family In Home Session First Birthday DeKalb 2020

I swear, every year just gets sweeter and sweeter. Gretchen posted after I took Libby’s one year birthday photos that have been taking photos of their family for about 5 and 1/2 years! Thats crazy! I am so honored. Seriously. I feel like I say this every year but I really do mean it. One of the best parts of my job is returning clients. I love seeing families grow!

It was so fun to see the big difference in both Jack and Libby this year from last year’s session. A lot can happen in 1 year. When Lex and I got got their house, Jack was so excited to show us all of his toys. Libby watched the camera for awhile to see what was going on but did warm up. Both were so silly and smiley the whole time! There was one point where I was taking photos of just Gretchen and Johnny and Jack just snuck in there. He decided he wanted to be a part of the Sprinkle Sandwich. You’ll see what I mean below so keep scrolling :) Its adorable.

A lot like Jack’s cake smash session, Libby was taking her sweet time eating her cupcake. She would take little bites one finger at a time! It was so cute. She eventually started digging in just in time for Jack and her to walk through the cake and then all over the kitchen. They both thought it was hilarious.

One of my favorite parts about working with the Sprinkles is there appreciation for candid real moments of their family. If someone cries or needs to eat, that is okay. They tickle and chase and read books to their kids. I was going to say I hope but I know they will look back on these photos and remember their kids’ personalities. What they were like at this age. Which is always my goal <3
