Ashleigh and Jake Emerson Creek Oswego Wedding
Ashleigh and Jake’s was seriously just the sweetest!! They had me tearing up several times. Between their tearful first look and beautiful private vow reading post ceremony, their day was full of so much meaning. They really took advantage pf spending time just the two of them which I loved. Your day goes by SO FAST. And at the end, you realize you may not have actually spent that much time with your new spouse. So soak it up when you can! Which is why I just love first looks. Gives you soooo much more time to be together and logically it just makes the day flow better!
This was the first time Lex and I had ever been to Emerson Creek in Oswego and we were so impressed. I was dying over cute everything was from the second we were pulling in the driveway. Such a cool space with lots of options for the various activities of your day/photos. Definitely had similar vibes to a backyard wedding without it being in your own backyard.
Lets take a moment to appreciate all the incredible details. Ashleigh loves to DIY and everything turned out just beautiful. She could go into this if she wanted a new job!
One of my favorite parts of getting to work with Ashleigh and Jake was when I sent her an email to let them know that I was pregnant and she let me in on a little secret that they were also expecting! Second time this year we have gotten to be in on the secret and I love it :) Ashleigh looked absolutely gorgeous! And it is so special that they not only got to renew their vows but celebrate becoming parents later this year. They did a gender reveal at their reception with everyone and found out they were having a boy. Funny story though about the reveal, they got sparklers that were supposed to be blue or pink for boy or girl. And I think if they had had both sets of sparklers the color would have stood out more but it ended up just looking white haha so the maid of honor had to yell out what they were having. Still such a cool moment!
