Hanson Family Chicago Christmas Session

If you like cute families, matching PJ’s and Christmas Trees then you will love this session <3 What an adorable family! And the fact that they got out matching PJ’s for their shoot just made me so happy.

I got to meet Reece for the first time during this shoot and he was just about 7 weeks old. Very awake the whole time and mesmerized by my camera! He loved to look at the focusing light on the front. Which works out well if you want a 7 week old baby to look at you ;)

I really love doing in home sessions. Being a photographer, photos are important to me. And I take capturing your memories very seriously. So when I get the chance to document a family in their space, it just makes it all the more special. I hope they can look back on this time years from now, whether they are in this house or not and remember their first Christmas as a family of three!

And the fact that they got all snuggled up in matching PJ’s by their tree with the prettiest window light just made my photog heart very happy! I find it funny that there will always be one part of the house that is my favorite. And this time , having Julie, Mike, and Reece get all cuddled up by their tree was it! The lighting was so dreamy and the cuddles were too cute.
